Toothbrush embroidery

Toothbrush embroidery (also known as vertical thread embroidery) is a pattern layer woven into a body with embroidery thread at a certain height higher than the base cloth, and the embroidery thread is neat, vertical and firm, similar to the effect of a toothbrush, and has been widely used in clothing, home accessories, handicrafts and other fields. Toothbrush embroidery is in the ordinary embroidery process, adding a certain height of accessories (such as three-dimensional glue) on the fabric, after the embroidery is completed, use a flattening machine or other cutting tools to repair and smooth the embroidery thread on the accessories, and then remove the accessories, and show the embroidery thread that is erected and has a preset length, thus forming a three-dimensional embroidery pattern with a certain height of toothbrush shape. The underside of the embroidered pattern is ironed with hot melt to prevent the embroidery thread from coming loose after processing.

At present, toothbrush embroidery is generally produced by ordinary computerized embroidery machines. The effect obtained by embroidering on the front of the fabric is a toothbrush embroidery on the front. Because the top thread is dried up by the knot with the bottom thread, the embroidery thread looks messy, which affects the appearance and product quality. On the contrary, the reverse toothbrush embroidery is to reverse the fabric to obtain the effect of processing after embroidery on the back, and the effect of the reverse embroidery is that the embroidery thread will stand upright and neat, but because the embroidery side is downward, the embroidery effect can not be observed in the embroidery process, and the embroidery thread is in contact with the platen to produce friction, which also affects the quality of the embroidery. Reverse embroidery is not conducive to mixed embroidery with multiple embroidery methods, and is usually only used for simple toothbrush embroidery. To achieve mixed embroidery, it is also necessary to reverse the fabric that has been embroidered with a toothbrush and then perform other types of embroidery. In fact, at present, most of the toothbrush embroidery embroidery produced by ordinary embroidery machines is still reverse embroidery.
